How much does memory care cost at Nevada Memory Care?
It depends on several factors. For example, the most important factor is the diagnosis of the resident. The primary and secondary diagnosis from a doctor should tell you what type of supervision is needed. Skilled or Non-skilled. If it is Non-skilled, then the resident is appropriate for Assisted Living with Memory Care or a Group Home Setting.
Based on the Primary and Secondary Diagnosis, the doctor prescribes the level of care appropriate for the resident based on the following physical and mental conditions:
MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment)
Dementia
Chronic Illness
At the time of admission, pricing is also determined by the following physical conditions of the resident:
Mobile & Active
Mobile, but needs assistance (e.g. with walking cane, walker or wheelchair)
Immobile or bedridden
In addition, the following factors are also taken into account in pricing.
Furthermore, in the State of Nevada there are two Category levels which are defined as follows and are also taken into account for pricing purposes.
- Category 1
- Category 2
