Love
Love from family and friends comes first. Dignity and clinical care on their own cannot produce what a person feels when they are with the people who know them. Everything else rests on it.
The principle the other two needAbout us
Nevada Memory Care has looked after families in Las Vegas for more than ten years. We are a residential care home near Summerlin, not a large community — every resident has a private room, and the people who care for your family member are the same faces week after week.
Our approach is person-centered. In practice that means we start from the whole person — their history, their habits, what they still love doing — rather than from a diagnosis.

The order matters. Clinical care without the other two is a service; it is not a home.
Love from family and friends comes first. Dignity and clinical care on their own cannot produce what a person feels when they are with the people who know them. Everything else rests on it.
The principle the other two needWhatever a resident’s mental, emotional, or physical capacity, our staff are committed to complete dignity while helping with the ordinary business of the day — dressing, bathing, eating, moving around.
Especially in the private momentsClinical care is the third piece. Health is monitored and medical support adjusts as a resident’s needs change, so that care keeps pace with the person rather than lagging behind them.
Revisited as needs changeWhat we offer
Most of the families who call us are looking for memory care — residential care for someone living with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia. We also provide assisted living, and respite care for families who need to hand over the caregiving for a while.
Our staff describe their role as being ambassadors for residents and their families — to each other, and to the healthcare providers involved in someone’s care. A lot of what we do is making sure the right people are talking to each other.
We are not a nursing home. Skilled nursing is a different level of care, delivered under licensed nurses. If that is what your family member needs now or comes to need later, we would rather tell you plainly than have you find out the hard way.
The honest way to judge any care home is to stand in it. Come and see how residents and staff speak to each other, then ask us the hard questions — the ones worth asking are written down for you.
